Why do they call it 'feminism?' It's just wanting to be treated like a respected individual.

"Women Taken Down" by me (draft)

Women who speak are beaten

Taken down

Left to live like a dog

IHave 5 minutes

To feel happiness

stretch for the whole day

feel beautiful movement

breathe through the body

Look pretty in the mirror at times

feel a dance

It's so dark but not in the heart

We used to be so pretty

Lost our looks when we were taken down

Of the bad encountered

They’ve come back to see us

For their God’s messengers now

been a part of our dreams

Running to save us

We all sing and dance together

Like one

For there's no judgement

Or rule

Just existing on an equal venue

Come aim to our gardens

Restoring one’s love

Like restoring waste lands

For we were once women taken down.
