Dear Jess,

My heart is so open and grateful of the times I spend with you that bring back memories of yesterday when we were always so bound by the hip so happily strolling our way through life my son. I want to share this peace and love with others to be able to feel and enjoy as much as I do through my work with the homeless (which I know very well myself) on top of my donations that I make every year at Christmas time, this year including my children's music cd's that I will be giving out.  This song comes from me looking down at the waterfront where I live in Portland, OR. I don't go down to it, I just look down toward it. I can see the bikes and people. Hear the noises coinciding with it from afar. Yet I hold my breath and clutch my chest to the what the remembrance of that spot brings to me. I'm still working on this emotional feeling.
