It was significant to me last night during bed rest what the green leaf that God shone the sun onto for me and to show others when I was at Washington Park in Portland Oregon through the hiking trail the path I needed to follow for this book. This is a lot of what these poems are about in this book. Please take in its importance and I hope to shed hope onto the world.
Another land, time place
another dark scary door
that this purple sun opens
It carries to a tunnel
I'm not afraid
I'm stepping in
the green leaf changes its color
Last night it signified to me
when I had cried in pain
as the blood flowed from me
I asked God to take me
he replied to tell the story
of what’s going on as he saved me
As the beginning of this poem
came to me later
that I didn’t remember that I wrote
or how it came about
it's at these times that I realize
it's from God.
